The author says she contacts each restaurant within 30 days of Christmas, and every open listing on the page says 2026 information is coming in November of 2026. We re-read it on October 22, 2026. Hours below are that year's hours. They are not a 2026 schedule.

Two other 2025 records sit outside that roundup. Lavender's own event page is dated Thursday, December 25, 2025. WTOC reported McDonough's Christmas buffet on December 24, 2025. Broken Keel is the exception on wording: its site, checked the same day, lists Christmas Day hours and does not print a year. That still is not a printed "open Christmas Day 2026" line, so it stays in the call-to-confirm group.

The same guide's rule of thumb: restaurants closer to the river, especially ones attached to hotels, were more likely to be open for the holiday. St. Neo's Brasserie, at the Drayton Hotel, 7 Drayton St, Savannah 31401, (912) 662-8901, saintneos.com, is on the same 2025 guide with Christmas Day marked TBD. The guide calls it an oyster bar for Lowcountry cuisine and says 2026 information is coming in November of 2026. It is not on the open list here.

The guide's red note says The Olde Pink House and Vic's on the River were closed Christmas Day 2025 and may be closed in 2026. Start with a phone call the week of December 25, 2026, even if a restaurant was open in 2025. Hotel dining rooms along Bay Street, River Street, and the Plant Riverside District are the cluster the 2025 guide found open. That is a place to start the calls, not a list of places that will be serving.

If you are in town earlier in the month, the holiday calendar is fuller than Christmas Day itself. The Twelve Bars of Christmas crawl is a separate Saturday event, not a Christmas Day dinner.
